CALLaDoc provides telehealth services and related online services. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988.

Depending on what you do with CALLaDoc, we may collect:

  • Identity & contact details: name, date of birth, phone number, email, address.
  • Booking / account details: appointment details, communications, consent records.
  • Health information: symptoms, history, medications, allergies, consult notes, referrals, certificates and other clinical information.
  • Payment & billing: payment status and transaction references (we generally do not store full card details if a payment provider is used).
  • Technical data: IP address, device/browser, and usage data (e.g., logs/analytics).
Health information is sensitive. We collect and use it only where reasonably necessary to provide healthcare services, or as permitted by law.

3) How we collect personal information

  • Directly from you when you book, complete forms, contact us, or use telehealth.
  • From other providers you consent to share information with us (e.g., referrals).
  • From service providers supporting bookings, communications, payments, or clinical systems.

  • to pharmacies and diagnostic providers where you request prescriptions, pathology requests or referrals (where applicable);
  • to service providers that help operate our business (booking/hosting/communications/payments/support);

6) Overseas disclosures

Some service providers may store or process information outside Australia (for example, cloud hosting or communications providers, although the database is stored on an Australian server). When we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected and handled appropriately.
