Renewals depend on clinical suitability, your history, and current guidelines. Certain medicines have extra requirements or may need an in‑person review.
How long does it take to receive my eScript?
Most eScripts are issued shortly after the consult when appropriate. You’ll receive a token by SMS/email to present at the pharmacy.
What if I’m out of repeats?
We’ll assess your situation and, if suitable, provide an eScript and follow‑up plan. Otherwise, we’ll advise the safest next step.
General CALL@Doc FAQs
What counts as after‑hours and how is the +25% applied?
After‑hours includes weekday evenings (6:00 PM–8:00 AM), weekends, and NSW public holidays. A 25% uplift is applied to standard fees during these times. See: After‑hours fee details.
Are Medicare rebates available for telehealth?
Eligibility depends on your circumstances and current Medicare rules. Where applicable, we’ll advise during your consult if a rebate may apply and what evidence is required.
Do I need ID or medical history to book?
Yes. To maintain safety and regulatory compliance, we may require photo ID and relevant medical history. You’ll be guided through secure submission during booking.
How fast will I receive my eScript or certificate?
Most eScripts and certificates are issued shortly after your consult if clinically appropriate—often the same day. You’ll receive them digitally via SMS/email.
Can you prescribe Schedule 8 or restricted medications?
Some medicines (e.g., Schedule 8) have stricter rules or may need an in‑person assessment. Your clinician will advise if telehealth is appropriate; otherwise you’ll be referred accordingly. Learn more: Prescriptions.
